Fancy Pants

I've been on the hunt lately for a pair of stylish comfy pants. A lil' sumthin' just to wear on the weekends when I don't have much to do but still look put together in case I have to run errands or go meet up with friends or family. So as soon as I saw these pants at H&M I immediately snatched them up! I would say they are a cross between sweatpants, leggings, and slacks. They are super soft and comfy yet very stylish. They can be dressed down like I did in this look with a blousey dolman top, knit scarf, and fur moccasin flats, But I also think I could dress the pants up with a pair of black heels and blazer n' like bam! I'm ready for work! Want to know the best part about these pants?! They only cost $10!! They were on sale, how can you beat style, comfort, and affordability??

Foundation Fun!

Over the past couple of months I have been experimenting with various drug store foundations. When it comes to foundation I like a lil' sumthin' that gives me complete full coverage, Personally I have always preferred a whipped foundation and after hearing great reviews online for the Revlon ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup I decided to give it a whirl! I wore it everyday until the entire jar was used up so I have had plenty of time and usage of the product to give it a thorough review. When applying the product I dabbed my MAC 187 foundation brush into the foundation and blended it all over my face. I will say at first application the coverage appears lighter than what is usual for my liking, but I noticed  as I wore the product through out the day the appearance of the foundation gets better. It does give a very smooth creamy appearance to the face and lasts all day without wearing off. However, one huge pitfall to this foundation is the smell. It smells awful! It smells like paint. It is definitely more noticeable when you first put it on and it goes away throughout the day. At times especially if I applied it near my nose the smell was very strong to the point of making me feel a bit nauseous. Gross! For coverage and appearance on the skin alone I would give it 4 out of 5 lipsticks
but because of the smell I only give it 3. If it weren't for the smell I would repurchase and use this foundation again but because of that I just can't and will most likely keep it moving on to something else!
