All Dolled Up and No Place To Go

Saturday me and my husband planned on going to a what I like to call tri-birthday party, it was a birthday party for my Dad, sister, and brother-in-law, being that all of their birthdays are in Oct. I glammed it up to the max for the occasion with make-up, hair, the works! Come to find out right when we are about to leave a wind storm was making it's way throughout the area and the roads were in no condition to be driving on. With no place to go I tried not to let my make up go to waste and decided to take the opportunity to capture my face of the day along with my outfit. Just for fun and to be festive party girl ready I matched my lip color to my clutch purse!

The Bigger the Hair the Closer to God

As you can see yesterday I teased my hair to the High Heavens and fluffed it out! I thought it would be a fun messy look for some Sunday afternoon shopping.

My Valentine!

Happy Valentine's Day!! Yesterday my husband had a presentation to give so he wanted to dress especially spiffy, not only was his presentation a home run so was his outfit! Being a big & tall man it's difficult for him to find clothes that are fit and stylish. Fortunately, he has found that Burlington Coat Factory is a great source for affordable fashionable big & tall clothes.

Jule's Gems: Maybe it's Mabelline?

It is Mabelline! That is in fact me new fav foundation to wear! Mabelline Dream Matte Mousse. I've been noticing in my photos as of late that I've had some extra shine to my face almost giving me a wet face illusion, yikes! Who wants that??!!? I am more of a fan of super matte but natural looking foundation nothing shiny or caked on. I gave Mabelline Dream Matte Mouse foundation a whirl and am luvin it! It gives my face a great matte finish and lasts all day, the foundation also photographs really well it doesn't wash me out like some foundations tend to do.

To apply I start with first smacking on a layer of Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB Cream using my finger tips. I then add a thin layer of the Dream Matter Mousse using my MAC 187 face brush. If you don't have 1, get 1 here now! To top it off I ever so lightly dust on a layer of Mabelline's Dream Matter Powder using a big fluffy brush. I haven't been so bold yet to try their blush (which there are lots to choose from)! For now though I'm stickin true with my Blush All Day by MAC a great little gem every gal outta have!
